FIDM Museum & Galleries
The FIDM Museum & Galleries, located at the downtown Los Angeles campus of FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising), is comprised of multiple Museum-Gallery spaces and important historical and contemporary fashion collections.
The FIDM Museum mounts two or three major exhibitions each year, including the annual The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design and The Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design.
The Annette Green Fragrance Archive and the Helen Larson Historical Fashion Collection Archive are both housed within the FIDM Museum & Galleries.
The mission is to provide students, researchers, designers, and the public with the resources to examine the roles of historic fashion, accessories, textiles, jewelry, fragrance, and related ephemera in their relationship to society, history, art, and technology.
Admission to all FIDM Museum exhibitions is free.
